In this unit, I've learned that vocabulary is very important to the student so that they may form basic sentence structure and eventually use grammar. I also learned that many new students learning a new language will have good "productive vocabulary", which are the words they already know and are able to use them often. They will also need help working on their "receptive vocabulary", which are the words they already know but do not use often.
