This unit teaches concepts and principles in establishing rapport with students, the seating arrangement of the class, managing class activities, teacher talk time vs student talk time, and handling discipline. At first, I was scared about how to establish and maintain discipline in class but the practical tips shared in this unit made me less intimidated by it. I realize that having a good understanding of the students and establishing rapport are great ways to limit problems in the classroom.
