I have learned that it is important to keep the students interactive within a lesson. The ESA format of engage, study, activate is most beneficial for teaching English as a foreign language. It is important to keep students communicating and broadening their vocabulary along with their imagination. A teacher should always be supportive in feedback and give corrections respectfully. It is important to find the balance between over-correcting and not correcting enough.
