Through this Unit I have covered how to introduce the new language to the students through ESA stages within a lesson. These stages can be implemented in different orders, for example, a boomerang lesson structure differs in that the teacher would Engage the students, then activate using a discussion, then study possibly using a gap-filling exercise then activate again maybe using a classroom language game.
This unit feels like an introduction into lesson planning and i am starting to imagine how I would structure my own lesson using these ideas and techniques.
