This unit teaches about how to handle your students in the classroom and about the teacher, student dynamic in the classroom. It has taught me the best ways to use my voice in class and how to vary it in different situations. It has taught about ways to group students for different benefits and for different types of activities, that pair work, larger group work and individual work should be varied. This unit tells the teacher the points to consider when thinking about seating arrangements and the different dynamics and benefits that can result from different positions. It also mentions again how the teacher should maintain a balance between teacher talk time and student talk time, and gives advice on how one can reduce teacher talk time if it is unnecessary, and rather give the students more time to practice speaking.
