This unit talks about the receptive skills which are reading and listening. This unit helps us to understand that we read for various reasons; either for purpose or entertainment. In this unit, i learnt that we do not only read and listen with our eyes and ears, we also read and listen with our minds in order for us to recognize and understand the words and the overall meaning from a pre-existing knowledge of the world.
