This unit was focused on teaching listening and reading skills, highlighting the difficulties and objectives when it comes to teaching foreign language students how to listen and read a new language effectively. I thought the pre-teaching difficult vocabulary was interesting and something I had never thought about doing. I also agreed strongly with the notion that reading and listening should be directed around what the students are interested in and what relates to their experiences.
