At the beginning of this unit I learned the motives of reading and listening is either fora purpose or for entertainment, and the different ways of reading and listening such as scanning, skimming. Teacher should carefully select the texts that suites the learner's level of language and expose the students to a variety of authentic and no-authentic tests. A variety of topics should be present to students, It can help to motivate and engage the students. In the study stage of the lesson, pre-teaching vocabulary is a great way to help student remove some of the obstacles that may get in their way of learning.Overall this unit is very useful, it give me a idea of how the reading and listening process work from a learner's perspective. It also prepare with techniques that help the student in the future.
