Unit 20 is about troubleshooting and common problem situations such as: first lessons,different levels of students within a class, large classes, use of native language, reluctant students and difficulties with listening texts. I liked the warmers that are short, fun, communicative activities created to get students motivated and using English. Some of the ideas included playing hangman, pictionary, tongue twisters and memory games. I found it interesting to read about how the use of students' native tongue can be problematic in monolingual classes. Students want to communicate something that they feel unable to express in English or want to explain something to help another student. They are not trying to be malicious.
