From this unit I have learnt that there are five types of conditional sentences which are zero, first, second, third and mixed conditionals. Conditionals are sentences containing if/when which refer to the past, present and future possibilities. When teaching reported speeches time expressions has to be taught to students so that it becomes easy for them when reporting to express the exact time that the event took place.
