Unit 5 talks about how to plan a lesson. It teaches us the important functions of writing a lesson, its basic principles, how to organize a smooth lesson and what should be included in the lesson plan. It is important to choose the learner objectives, teachers' personal aims, language point, materials and other teaching aids, anticipate the possible problems, write down the procedure (activities), ESA phases, timing and interaction, know the class level, number of students, date and time of the lesson and teacher's and observer's names.
