In this lesson, I learned that it is always crucial to keep an organized, working, flexible, simple, and goal oriented plan for effective and successful teaching. It is always important to keep the learner's objective, what you want the students to be able to do by the end of the lesson, as well as personal aims, what I would like to achieve as a teacher, written for the lesson plan, as these are two important guides to teaching each lesson. Other factors, but are not limited to, include language point, teaching aids, phase, and timing. The ESA method for phasing is quite useful and effective in planning how to break down lesson points, with introducing the topic to the students, studying the concepts, and then activating them in language and usage.
