This final unit briefly went over how to properly deal with troubleshooting issues in the classroom. For new teachers, larger classes can be intimidating but I learned that choral repetition, worksheets, pair work and even appointing a group leader can really help ensure that every student in the class gets participation time. Building rapport with a new class of student is especially important and can be done by playing games like pass the ball! Teachers will naturally come across students who may be reluctant to participate. Group work and role-play work well here. Overall it's super important to stay aware and mindful of every student's language level and to (as a good teacher) be over-prepared so that you're always ready to handle a particular situation!
