This unit covered five different conditionals. Zero, First, Second, Third and Mixed Conditional. First conditionals are used for back-up plans, promises, and threats or warnings. Zero conditionals are used to express certainties, general truths and scientific facts. Dreams, fantasies and hypothetical situations are usually expressed via second conditionals while regrets and excuses are told through third conditionals. This unit also went into depths about reported speech and how to switch from direct speech to reported speech. I learned it's important to not the time changes that take place when making the switch. For example, "yesterday" in direct speech would need to be changed to "the day before" in reported speech.
