This unit was unique in the fact that it was composed of video footage only and not any reading portion. There were two separate videos. The first was an example of how NOT to teach a class, whereas the second, was a good example of how to successfully teach a class. I learned the importance of the teacher-student relationship in this lesson. The attitude that the teacher has throughout the lesson can really determine the amount of participation the students give and is a direct reflection of how effective the lesson ends up being. Speaking slowly helps bring clarity and understanding to students when a new concept is presented. Working in pairs helps with student talk time!
