In Unit 8 I learned all about the future tenses in the English language. There are seven different ones: future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going + infinitive, present simple, and present continuous. The present continuous and the be going + infinitive forms are used the most. The future simple form is used to make predictions, promises and future facts or certainties. Lots of the tenses taught in this unit use planners or calendars as a teaching mechanism for students, as it helps to create conversations amongst partners.
