In this unit I learned about different methodologies, why some are more effective than others, and about the ESA method. From the latter I learned how to structure lessons, and about various effective learning tools which can be implemented at each stage of a lesson. It also has made me think about ways to structure a successful method, especially where there may be time constraints: for example I have learned that a 'patchwork' lesson is unsuitable for shorter lessons.
