In this unit, the two videos exemplified different practices and attitudes in teaching English as a second language. The professor's attitude shifts from somewhat blasé and impatient in the first video to clear and supportive in the second. His ineffective attitude in the first video was especially evident when he ran through the worksheet answers quickly on his own without any explanation. Overall, this unit demonstrated that even subtle alterations in teaching can be significant.
