Unit 18 taught myself a great deal of grammar, especially in terms of understanding modal auxiliary verbs and how they are used correctly in expressions. The basic rules of those modals gave me a great understanding of how modal verbs are used on sentence structure and different phases of expression and tenses. Learning about passive voices, and the difference between passive voice and active voice helped me better understand grammar and how its structured in sentences. Relative clauses and verbal phrases explanations in this unit were a little more challenging to understand, however it was a good introduction to understanding them. I feel I would like to study this section of the unit in more detail to better understand this message provided by the writter.
