This unit was about lesson planning. There are many things that should be included in a lesson plan. The first is the learners objective. This is what you want the students to be able to do by the end of the lesson. Next is your own personal aims. What as a teacher do you wish to achieve? Third, language point. This shows the theme around which your lesson is based and also how it fits in with past and future lessons. Fourth, teaching aids. Materials and other aids that will be needed in the lesson. Fifth, anticipated problems. Think of possible problems that could arise during the lesson and think of a solution for these problems. Sixth, the procedure. These are the activities used to achieve the learner objective. Seventh, the phase; engage, study, or activate. Eighth, Timing. Expect how much time each activity will take. Be realistic and flexible in the content you cover in order to maximize the time allotted. Next is interaction. Who will be interacting at each stage of the lesson? Other important aspects to add into your lesson plan are the class love, number of students, date and time, and the teachers and observer's names.
