Is getting a TESOL hard?
It is extremely rare for a trainee to fail an ITTT TESOL certification course. Our courses have a 90% pass rate across the board (one of the highest passing rates of any TESOL provider worldwide).
We make sure that every course taker has the chance to become a great English teacher. That is why we also offer extensive pre-and post-course counseling to ensure that our students find exciting and fulfilling opportunities to teach English in other countries or online.
Is TESOL certification challenging?
Since a high-level TESOL course is comparable to a university course, it is necessary to spend a good amount of time working through the course units. Reviewing the course material ensures that you will meet all the class deadlines, thus not failing your course.
Depending on the TESOL course you choose, you will have between 6 months and a year to complete it. If you are not sure if online learning is right for you, consider adding tutor support to your course. With this option a professional TESOL expert will be by your side throughout your online course to support and answer any questions about the course content.
How hard is the TESOL exam?
Another great benefit of taking an ITTT online TESOL course is that there is no final exam at the end. Instead, you must complete all units as part of the coursework, which can include lessons, exercises, tests/quizzes, and summative essays.
Don't worry, our courses are designed for people who have no prior experience teaching or even learning languages. We begin at the bottom and work our way up. If you devote the necessary time to your coursework, complete assignments on time, and respond positively to tutor criticism, you are unlikely to fail your TESOL certification course.
