This is particularly true in the country?s beach resorts where your expenses are certain to be higher than less popular areas. Housing costs are the largest expense for most teachers, with prices ranging from $200 to $350 per month for a homestay option that includes meals. For a similar cost you can rent a room in a shared apartment, while a private house or apartment will start at around $400 per month in areas away from the city center.
