Can I get a B.A. in TESOL?
Anyone who wants to teach English to non-native speakers at home, online, or abroad will typically need a TESOL certification in order to meet the job criteria. If you want to move up the ladder and apply for higher positions, you will often be expected to possess an advanced-level TESOL qualification such as a Diploma in TESOL. However, if your ambitions are to reach the very top of the ESL teaching profession, whether in the classroom, in management, or in other high-end roles, you might want to consider completing a Bachelor's Degree in TESOL.
Does ITTT offer a Bachelor's Degree in TESOL?
Although we do not provide our own Bachelor’s Degree in TESOL, we are happy to recommend a course through our own website. The Bachelor of Education in TESOL (B.Ed TESOL) from the Paris College of International Education is a very accessible, affordable qualification that is internationally recognized. The course is completed 100% online and is a 120-credit course.
How does the course work?
The course is run via a state-of-the-art Learning Management System (LMS) that can be accessed from any computer, tablet or smartphone. The LMS provides access to all the course materials you will need, plus a range of quizzes and assignments that pop up during the course of study. This is also where you get to communicate with other members of the same course, as well as where you access any feedback you receive from your course tutors. As you would expect from an online course, there are no set times you need to be online or any scheduled classes to attend. Throughout the course you get to decide your own study schedule that fits around your existing commitments.
How much does the B.Ed TESOL cost?
The course has no admission fee or tuition fees, which makes it a great option for anyone on a budget. Currently the course charges around €90 for assessment on each class, which equates to €3,300 for the whole course assessment. The only other charge is a graduation fee of €300. In total, the Bachelor of Education in TESOL (B.Ed TESOL) from the Paris College of International Education will cost around €3,600.
