TESOL Videos - TESOL TEFL Reviews - Video Testimonial - Dan
Dan from Ukraine completed the 120-hour online TEFL course from ITTT. In this TEFL review video Dan tells us that he is currently teaching in China. The course gave Dan a lot of insight into teaching as well as plenty of materials and lesson plan ideas that he can use in his classes. Dan recommends signing up if you are thinking of teaching English abroad.
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
In general we tend to use the active voice, that is when a subject does an action to an object the passive voice is used when we want to emphasize the action and the object of a sentence rather than subject this means that the subject is either less important than the action itself or that we don't know who or what subject is the passive agent when we know who the subject is we put it at the end with we call this an agent most writing instructor and editor recommend against using the passive voice when possible, the reason for this is that when you use the active voice your writing is clearer and less complicated.
