TESOL Videos - TESOL TEFL Reviews - Video Testimonial - Akira
Akira took the 120-hr online TEFL course with tutor support and videos from ITTT. In this TEFL review video he talks about what he learned on the course, including better ways to plan his lessons and activities he can use in his classes. ITTT's TEFL/TESOL courses are not only well suited for students who have never taught before but are also a great way to refresh old skills for working teachers.
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
I see why they would do the Unit about past tense after present tense. I feel it is imperative to know the present tense before this because it will make it easier on the students. I feel that if you learn the key words which go with the tenses, such as: Past Perfect for example, will deal with the work had or hadn't plus a past participle meaning that it would be followed by a word ending in \"ed\". That thus shows it would be an action that occurred before other actions in the past. I found myself learning and recognizing little tricks that could help a student remember which tense is being used in the sentences.
