TEFL 120-hour Course - Unit 9

In her ninth video diary instalment, Chantelle discusses unit 9 of her online TEFL course from ITTT. This unit covers lesson planning and the importance of being well prepared for your lessons. The unit discusses whether there is a need to plan lessons, how a lesson plan should be written and what should be included in a lesson plan. It also looks at ways to plan a sequence of lessons and how important it is for teachers to reflect on past lessons to help improve future classes.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

In the second unit I have learned, the various partes of the Grammar, in which it can be difficult to understand.Even thought no teacher is expected to be a walking grammar reference this unit has taught me the Parts of the speech.i*-in this unit conditional and roported speech it not really clear to me,it is very tricky unit to me.by my understanding i was able to answer to the best of my knowledge, but will review this unit to understand it clearly again. These are tough challenges. As a native speaker I know what to actually say but it is not always so easy to categorise what I say.... or have said!! I guesss its about practise and familiarisation. Just hope that I pass this one!!
