TESOL Videos - English Grammar - Past Tenses Review - Teaching English Abroad Programs
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
Unit 8 is all about the future tense used in the English language. The seven most common tenses with future meanings are future simple, future perfect, future perfect continuous, future continious, going to future, present simple, and present continuous. These all come in different word forms and have different usages. An example of usages for a future tense form is: future facts or certainties, promises, and predictions with no evidence for the future simple form. Unit 8 has now made me understand the usages of the future tense better, so I can (in the future) teacher it to English learners with more confidence.
