The first unit of the course, Teachers and Learners is interesting for me because it organized information about teachers and students' qualities, roles and responsibilities in a way I never thought of before. I come from a financial background and I never studied English and English systems before. It will take some time to get used to studying teaching English "scientifically".
I have been tutoring English to Romanian students, both children and adults for 4 years. All this time I thought of myself as an English teacher when I was in fact just tutoring, just one aspect of teaching. It seems I have a lot to learn in terms of teaching and I am eager to start learning with this course.
