Unit 12 was about teaching the two productive skills, writing and speaking. I learned the difference between accuracy based and fluency based lessons, and what type of activities are appropriate for both areas. There were several examples of straight arrow ESA lessons in this unit for speaking and writing lessons. The unit also listed some difficulties that may be encountered when teaching the productive skills.
