This unit teaches the role of teacher and student and how the teacher should handle students on a basic level. It teaches qualities of a good teacher and a good student, and how the teacher can encourage and motivate students to be good or better. This unit teaches that there should always be a balance maintained in all areas of the classroom. The teacher should keep a balance in class between being involved and observing, being the talker and the listener as well as keep a balance between being a mentor and a "friend" to the students and having more fun, and then also being the role model, rule maker and keeper and manager and someone that they respect and listen to.
