This Unit presents the different ways on how to teach productive skills which include speaking and writing. I have learned that accuracy and fluency are different from each other and that they both need different ways in order to teach in the class. Accuracy which is so much concentrated on producing correct language can usually be found in the study phase, whereas fluency activities which are more concentrated on how to be more creative with language can be found in the activate phase. Speaking activities include controlled, guided and creative communication activities vary on which is the one who controls the language and the output. Basically, controlled and guided activities are somehow controlled by the teachers, on the other hand creative communication output is mostly controlled by the learners. To make the lesson more fun for both the learner and the teacher, game activities are also suggested at the end of the unit.
