Through this course I have gained much valuable knowledge on ways to teach english to second learners. The single most important thing I have learned is about lesson planning and the ESA method of teaching. I particularly value the knowledge of the ESA method of teaching I have learned because it organizes and separates the different stages of learning and teaches us ways to create well balanced lessons. I have gained valuable lessons on many different kinds of activities to incorporate in my lessons and also about the many different kinds of teaching resources that are available to me. I have also learned a lot about grammar and the value of spending enough time to prepare a lesson and thinking about potential problems that may occur and coming up with solutions for them beforehand.
