TESOL Videos - TESOL TEFL Reviews - Video Testimonial - Marina
Marina from Moscow completed the 120-hour TEFL course with ITTT while on maternity leave. In her TEFL review she describes initially feeling apprehensive about studying online, Marina found this to be the best way to study for her in her situation. As a teacher of ten years, Marina did find some of the grammar units easier than expected for her but also found useful tips on teaching different skills. ITTT’s courses do not require trainees to have any previous teaching experience but those who have already been teaching for some time can still learn something new to help them develop their skills as an English teacher.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
In this unit, I refreshed my memory on concepts regarding the past tense, including its forms and usages. I also learned a few useful activities to help a teacher give his or her class as well as some of the most common mistakes made by the students.I am a bit confused by Q2 On page 1 of the study material Unit 16 it states that the First Conditional Form is - if + present simple, will but the closest options seems to be if + present tense, will? But this is not here in the test as an option?I had a review of the most important part of English language. I still need to learn about the auxiliary verbs when used in different tenses. And also the usage of across as a preposition and as an adverb. This unit was very clear and I enjoyed it.
