TESOL Videos - English Lesson - Present Perfect
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
This unit discussed various external resources that may help (or hinder) a classroom. I learned the value of using appropriate visual aids, effectively using board space or overhead projectors, and audio/visual supplements. Other vital tools like dictionaries or resource books were also discussed. There is a wide variety of available material to enhance an English classroom, so teachers should not avoid using them just to simplify their prep work. Instead, teachers should be constantly learning about what is available that might make lessons easier to understand, more captivating, and perhaps more relevant.
