After watching both ESA videos, I can clearly see the effect the teachers attitude and actions has on the outcome of the class's learning that day. Coming into class prepared, confident, yet kind and approachable can help relax the students and make them feel comfortable to listen and communicate responses or questions they may have. The second video shows the teacher using many different elicitation techniques and it was very helpful to see a video example of someone teaching in the ESA format and using methods I had learned in previous units.
