This unit discusses the 4 Present Tenses in detail. Present Simple is used for routines, habits, and facts e.g. I go to work at 6 am every morning. Present Continuous is used for actions happening at or around the time of speaking e.g. I am working so please be quiet or I am reading a good book at the moment. Present Perfect is used for actions in the past that may have results in the present e.g. I have lost my keys (I can't get into my house now). Present Perfect Continuous combines the Present Perfect and Continuous tenses to form a tense that speaks about something happening in the past and continuing up to the present e.g. I have been going to school for 10 years.
The unit also described how to grammatically form all of these tenses, affirmative, negative and question forms (using auxiliary verbs if necessary). We also learnt how to incorporate some Activate activities in the class.
